South Korea's PowerPlaza has unveiled its new Yebbujana R2 at the Geneva Motor Show.
Designed to preview an upcoming production model, the Yebbujana R2 is a compact convertible which rides on a lightweight carbon fiber monocoque chassis.
The exterior styling leaves something to be desired but PowerPlaza says the model draws inspiration from the "curves of a dynamic dolphin." The company also claims the rear end "embodies a smooth and exquisite look."
The cabin is sparsely equipped but features a tree-spoke steering wheel and Bride sport seats. The model also has a digital instrument cluster, an infotainment system, and two displays that show video feeds from the mirror-mounted cameras.
Despite the car's relatively small size, the Yebbujana R2 has been equipped with a massive 81 kilowatt hour lithium-ion battery. It powers an electric motor that produces 107 horsepower. The motor is connected to a five-speed manual transmission that enables the car to accelerate from 0-62 miles per hour in four seconds before hitting a top speed of 123 mph.
Thanks to the massive battery, the model can travel up to 475 miles on a single charge. However, that number is a bit deceiving as it was calculated with the assumption that the Yebbujana R2 will be driven at a constant speed of 37 mph.
